The added accesories which are not Canon are from really bad quality and almost useless. I had to buy an extra memory card that works correctly, tripod is useless for this heavy camera, etc.

I purchased the Canon EOS Rebel T2i/ 550D 36 piece pro kit with Canon EF-S. When I received this I thought that about 5 pieces of the kit where missing. I emailed them regarding this. Then I found 2 of the items I though where missing, they were way smaller than I thought. I promptly emailed them and told them that I had found 2 of the 5 items in the package. They responded with telling me they reviewed their video of putting everything in my shipping box and told me everything was there and that since I didn't find all the items in the first place maybe I just hadn't found all the items yet. I assured them that I had gone through everything and was still missing 3 items. We emailed back and forth a few time and they kept arguing with me... They then said that they no longer had those items in stock and would refund me $17... I spent over $1300. I have not used an SLR for many years, but was asked to be the photographer for an event a few days ago. Many were absolutely impressed with the results. In fact, two people independently stated that the pictures were better than wedding pictures they had seen (and one was the DJ who said he had played at many weddings). The truth is that I am an abject amateur who simply bought a few books a couple of weeks before the event. It was most definitely the camera.
