The Canon lens works perfect without the 2x tele-converter lens. With the 2x tele-converter lens attached it doubles the 75-300mm to 150-600mm. With the 2x teleconverter attached the auto focus feature does NOT work when attempting to auto focus above 400mm. At this point you must use the MANUAL focus mode.

With auto-focus on the lens just moves back and forth attempting to focus on subject, but never does. The full 600mm auto focus is what I was hoping for, but it just WON'T do it. I'm keeping the lens anyway to use in manual mode at full power. Disappointed with the lens full function inability to do what I want, or need it to do, which was why i purchased it in the first place.
